Located in Franklin Township of Hendricks County, Indiana, Stilesville is a small town with a population of 316 residents, according to the 2010 census. Originally settled in 1823, the town’s site was first laid out in 1828 and was named after one of its pioneer settlers, Jeremiah Stiles. A couple of years later in 1830, the National Road was built and passed through the town itself.
